I Do to the Micro

Small Weddings, Big Feelings.

Not everyone dreams of a 100-person wedding, a bridal party the size of a football team, or spending a year colour-coding chair covers.

Some couples just want to marry their favourite person in their own back yard with a handful of their favourite people.

That’s where I Do to the Micro lives.

Why small weddings hit differently

Some of my favourite weddings have been the smallest ones.

When you strip away the pressure to impress everyone, something lovely happens. People relax.

This package sits beautifully between legals only and the full bespoke ceremony experience.

It's a genuine wedding ceremony with I do's, personal vows, rings and the people who matter most, but without all the extras that come with a larger wedding.

It's intentionally simple. Not because it's "less than". Sometimes you just don't need all the other shit you see on Pinterest. Especially when everything else is low-key and DIY.

There won't be microphones, elaborate production or a ceremony written entirely from scratch. There will be warmth, connection and definitely a few laughs.

I'm capping guest numbers at 25 adults (plus the kids too, obvs) because once weddings get much bigger, they start feeling different. This package is all about keeping things relaxed, personal and unplugged.

It's also not available at traditional wedding venues. To be honest, most venues won't let you book a reception for only 25 people anyway, and if you're planning that kind of wedding, chances are you're dreaming bigger than this package.

How did others feel?

While we were only after a small ceremony, it's still a big nerve-wracking occasion. Sally-Ann did the legwork and put us at ease to ensure that it all went off without a hitch. (Jeff and Lisa)
